Meet Dr. Jensen
Brian P. Jensen, O.D., is an Idaho native, raised in Pocatello. He attended Idaho State University, studying biology before transferring to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where he completed his bachelor of visual science degree. He then completed his doctorate degree in optometry at Pacific University’s College of Optometry as a member of the Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa.
During his optometry training, he completed internships at the Walla Walla VA hospital in Washington; the Fort Hall IHS site in Fort Hall, Idaho; and the Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Jensen is a member of the Idaho Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association. He is also fluent in Spanish. He and his wife, Katherine, have five children. He is a novice runner, downhill skier, and mountain biker. He enjoys riding four wheelers and motorbikes, working on project vehicles, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family.
